CCPA Privacy Statement

This statement supplements our Privacy Policy and describes the rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), and explains how to exercise those rights.

1. Who this applies to

This statement applies to California residents whose personal information we collect in connection with almanorai.com and our services. It does not apply to personal information we process on behalf of our business clients as a service provider — that processing is governed by our contracts with those clients.

2. Categories of personal information we collect

In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined by the CCPA:

Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, job title, company name, IP address.
Commercial information: records of services requested or considered, and other purchasing or service-use history.
Internet or network activity: browsing behaviour on our website, pages visited, and interaction with our content, collected via cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
Professional or employment-related information: job title and employer, where provided through a demo request, contact form, or job application.
Inferences: inferences drawn from the above to reflect preferences and likely areas of interest, for example in tailoring follow-up communications.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA, and we do not collect personal information from consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.

3. Sources of personal information

We collect personal information directly from you (for example, when you submit a demo request or contact form), automatically through your use of our website, and from third parties such as business contact data providers used for legitimate business outreach.

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information to respond to enquiries and demo requests, deliver and improve our services, communicate with prospective and existing clients, maintain the security and functionality of our website, and comply with legal obligations. Full detail is available in our Privacy Policy.

5. We do not sell or share personal information

Almanor Research Inc. does not sell personal information, and has not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by the CPRA.

6. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights. To exercise any of them, contact us at info@almanorai.com. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 days, which may be extended once by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, with notice to you.

Right to know: you may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom it is disclosed.
Right to delete: you may request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law (for example, information needed to complete a transaction or comply with a legal obligation).
Right to correct: you may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing: as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out is currently necessary. If this changes, we will update this statement and provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism.
Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted without an opt-out under the CPRA.
Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a CCPA right.

7. Verification and authorized agents

To protect your information, we will verify your identity before fulfilling a request to know, delete, or correct — typically by matching the information you provide against information we already hold. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf by providing us with written proof of the agent's authority; we may still require you to verify your own identity directly.
